The summer camp for catechism students at Holy Family Church, Omzoor, was successfully conducted on April 27th and 28th, 2026, drawing a total of 61 participants. The event commenced with a formal inauguration by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. William Menezes, who was joined by Resident Priest Rev. Fr. Victor D’Souza and key parish leaders, including Mr. Arthur D’Souza, Mrs. Daffny Lewis, Mr. Elroy Saldanha, and Sr. Sabina Lobo. Following an opening prayer led by ICYM and Ayog members, Fr. William Menezes offered spiritual guidance to the students, setting a meaningful tone for the two-day program.

​Under the leadership of Br. Royston, Br. Winston, and Br. Ajay, the students were divided into four active groups to participate in a diverse range of activities. The curriculum balanced religious education with recreation, focusing on the significance of prayer, the Bible, and the specific arrangements required for the celebration of the Holy Mass. These lessons were complemented by engaging games, quizzes, and entertainment. The camp drew to a close with a celebratory prize distribution ceremony conducted by Rev. Fr. William Menezes, marking the end of an enriching experience where students gained both practical knowledge and lasting memories.
