Inauguration of Catechism classes (2026-27)
Catechism Classes Inauguration – Academic Year 2026–27
The Catechism classes for the academic year 2026–27 were inaugurated on 21 June 2026. The classes commenced at 8:45 a.m. and were conducted until 9:45 a.m., followed by the inauguration ceremony at 10:00 a.m.
The Eucharistic Celebration began with a solemn procession comprising the Catechism children, their parents, Catechism teachers, the main celebrant Rev. Fr. William Menezes, Resident Priest Rev. Fr. Rahul Dexter D’Souza, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Arthur D’Souza, Secretary Mrs. Daffny Lewis, and Ayog Coordinator Mr. Elroy Saldanha.
During the celebration, our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. William Menezes, officially inaugurated the Catechism classes. The liturgy was meaningfully conducted by the Catechism teachers. Rev. Fr. Rahul Dexter D’Souza delivered an inspiring homily, encouraging the children and their parents to grow in faith and Christian values.
Around 130 students, along with their parents, actively participated in the Eucharistic Celebration. The inauguration was a prayerful, joyful, and meaningful occasion, marking the beginning of a new Catechism year filled with God’s blessings and guidance.
