On the occasion of Children’s Year, the ICYM Omzoor Unit organized “ಫುಲಾಂಚೊ ಸೊಹಾಳೊ” (Flower Arrangement Competition) on October 4, 2026, creating a platform for young minds to express their creativity and artistic flair.
A total of 18 enthusiastic participants between the ages of 6 and 18 showcased their talent, putting forth their best efforts to create stunning floral designs. The creative exhibits were judged by Sr. Lucy and Sr. Pramila, who generously provide their services in beautifying the church altar with beautiful floral arrangements. They evaluated the participants’ creations based on creativity, presentation, and colour harmony. During the program, Sr. Lucy addressed the gathering, expressing warm appreciation for the children’s imaginative efforts and dedication.

Rev. Fr. William Menezes spoke on the occasion, praising all the young participants for their vibrant enthusiasm, active participation, and dedication.
The program was gracefully compered by Ms. Michelle Saldanha, who welcomed the gathering, coordinated the proceedings. Mr. Arthur D’Souza, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, announced the names of the winners and warmly congratulated all the prize holders.The event concluded on a joyful note, celebrating the commendable talents of the parish children.
