A talk on “Legal Documents and Issues in Property” was jointly organised by the Commission for Justice & Peace and the St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) Society of our Parish. The programme witnessed a good gathering of parishioners eager to gain clarity on various legal aspects related to property.

The session began with a warm welcome by the SVP President, Mr. James Lewis, who greeted the Parish Priest, resource person and all those present.
Rev. Fr. William Menezes, Parish Priest, addressed the gathering and introduced the resource person for the day, Mrs. Lolina Dsouza, a well-known lawyer from Mangalore, who brought with her a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.

Mrs. Dsouza delivered an insightful talk for about an hour, explaining important legal concepts, documentation procedures, and common issues related to property matters. Despite the technical nature of the subject, she presented the information in a simple and accessible manner, making it easy for everyone to understand.

The talk was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session lasting nearly an hour. Many participants came forward with their personal doubts and concerns regarding property-related legal matters, which were patiently addressed and clarified by the resource person.

At the end of the programme, Mr. Alwyn Fernandes, Convenor of the Justice & Peace Commission, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, organisers, and all attendees for making the event meaningful and successful.

The programme concluded with a hymn in honour of our patron.
